Account Processing customer data requests

As seller we need to comply with the privacy and data protection laws and regulations that apply. Privacy and data protection are critical foundations for ecommerce, and are important to our customers.

The protection of our customers data requirements to complete a customer’s request to access or delete their personal data from your platform is  focus on

• Data minimization,
• Transparency,
• Control, and
• Security.

Request and get a your stored data

Every time we receive an access or data portability request from a customer,  we need to verify the their requester identity in order to provide it.

Steps:

1. Access into your Account Hub
2.  Then go to Settings > Privacy
3. Click Manage Data > Request Stored data.
4. Complete the request form
5. Follow the step to verify your identity.

Once verified your iddentiry your will receive an email with your request within the next 48 hours at most.

Erasing personal data requests

We are sorry to see you go, hopefully it's temporarily. 

You can request to erase your personal data and be and redacted from our records, including any 3rd party apps and channels that you’ve interacted within Vice City Shops.

It's necesary to close your account, in order to erase your data.   

Vice City Shops only redacts some personal information, such as your customer’s name age groups (not birthdate), email , phone number,  and address and Non-personal data, such as order information about what was sold, the date and time of the sale, and the order value is maintained.

Steps:

1. Access into your Account Hub,rom the Account Hub,
2. then go to Settings >  Close account
3. Complete the request form and check Erase personal data box .
4. Follow the step to verify your identity.

Delays in processing erasure requests

By default, Vice City Shops won't erase your personal data you has placed an order has made an order in the last six months (180 days), in case a chargeback occurs. If a request for erasure is submitted during that time, then it will remain in a pending state until the required time has passed. When that required time has elapsed, Vice City Shops completes the erasure request. You don’t need to submit another request.

To override this processing delay, contact get CONNECTED Support.

Cancel a pending erasure request

After you submit a request to erase your personal information from our platform, you have 7 days to cancel the request.

Steps:

1. 1. Access into your Account Hub,
   2. then go to My Support >  Previous requests
   3. From your erasure request submitted section
   4. Click Cancel request and complete the Request cancellation form.

Closing  your account

You can request to Close your account and that action can’t be undone. Some customer profiles can't be deleted right, such as when the account is associated with one or more orders, or they have a pending redaction because of a GDPR erasure request.

Closing a customer profile is different from erasing a customer’s personal data.
