Applied Estimated Tax

Estimated taxes are based on local regulations and the order subtotal. The finalized tax will appear on your order receipt.

Order taxes are dictated by local regulations. The tax amount is influenced by several factors, such as:

These factors might change between the time you place an order and when it's completed. We may rely on our merchants to determine the exact tax amount. An estimated tax is displayed at checkout, which could be updated when your order is finalized. The final tax will be shown on your order receipt. If a refund is issued, any applicable tax will be refunded as well.

Fees

When you place an order on Vice City CONNECT, various fees may be applied. These fees support payments to Delivery Partners, the operation of the Vice City CONNECT platform, and our commitment to providing excellent service.

Applied fees per order

·       Service Fee: This fee supports the operation of the Vice City CONNECT platform. Service fees may increase based on the order subtotal, and a minimum flat service fee may apply to small orders.

• Fulfillment Fee (Delivery/Shipping): This fee applies to delivery orders and helps cover the costs of delivering your order. It can vary based on the merchant, location, and other factors like demand. Delivery/Shipping fees start at $0; Vicious Membership members enjoy $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible orders (read more on Vicious Membership below).
• Small Order Fee: This fee is sometimes charged to make small transactions worthwhile. A fee may apply if your order subtotal is below a certain amount.
• Regulatory Response Fee: Vice City CONNECT may charge this fee when local or state regulations increase operating costs. For example, a local authority might cap the fees we can charge restaurants. This fee allows us to continue offering convenient services and ensure Delivery Partners earn meaningful income. Regulatory response fees are flat and vary by region.
• Other Mandatory Fees: Some government authorities require Vice City CONNECT to charge specific fees, applied based on local regulations.

Other possible charges incurred when placing an order

• Optional Delivery Partner Tip: Every dollar you tip goes directly to your Delivery Partner. You can tip at checkout or after delivery. Delivery Partners receive 100% of customer tips, and tipping is optional
